Governance state

Every AI system carries a governance state, worked out by CognaOne from the record, never typed in by hand, and always with its reasons.

Hardship agent · no business owner namedNeeds attention
Credit scoring model · review open with Model RiskIn review
Claims triage agent · owners named, profile completeCurrent
CognaOne works out the state from the record and always says why. Illustrative.

How it is worked out#

A versioned ruleset reads the record and returns the state and the reasons. Because the platform calculates it, the state is the same in the console, in exports and through the API, and it changes the moment the record does. As reviews and approvals are added, the ruleset grows with them, and rules that depend on time, such as a review falling due, are re-checked automatically. Decommissioned systems carry no state.
